  1. The request 11 PM. The hobs are your AI team: agents running on your computer, with the Claude Code, Codex or Gemini you already use. Ask in one sentence, your way.
  2. Triage Got it! I lead the team. Instead of guessing, I only ask what changes the result: does the app need a login?
  3. The plan It’s a plan on the board now. Each task goes to the right model: light for the simple parts, strong only for the hard ones. Your quota isn’t wasted.
  4. Design and architecture Before any code, I draw the screens on the big screen. The architect writes the decisions down so nobody gets lost later.
  5. Hands on Hands on, several tasks at once. Oops, Claude Code is out of quota! No drama: I carry on in Codex right where I stopped.
  6. Tests and review Found a bug in test 3! It went back to the dev, got fixed, and now everything passes. The reviewer read every line and approved.

    Each step runs on the model it calls for, from any CLI you enabled: in the same mission, one step runs on Claude Code and another on Codex. Coordination uses the lightest one, and if someone gets stuck, a stronger model takes over where they stopped.

Will it burn through my quota?
It spends where it matters: triage and coordination use the lightest model, each step runs on the model it needs and the window shows budget × spend for each one.
Does my code leave my computer?
Hobfolk runs on your machine and works in your folders. The models only get what the CLIs themselves send, just like when you use them directly.
What if the team messes up?
Every mission has a restore point: one click and everything goes back. And the reviewer approves before anything is delivered.
Does it work on an existing project?
Yes. The first time, the team studies the project and finds the commands before changing anything.
